Someting completely different. The Ra 987, Rapid 3, built in 1961, 10 minutes after leaving Kalmar Central Station at 17:47 on April 28th 2018. The Ra-type was ordered by Statens Järnvägar, Sweden, in 1952. The design is clearly inspired by the GM EMD F an E types intended to show the high speed capability of the Ra.
Today the engine is owned by Nässjö Järnvägsmuseum. Click on picture for a larger version.
